What is the TirolS?

If your school ski group is heading to the Saalbach Hinterglemm region this year, you may well have heard about the TirolS. While we at the office get excited at any thought of getting on the slopes, it’s the TirolS that has really got us buzzing and rightly so.
The TirolS is a 10-person gondola connecting the picturesque Fieberbrunn ski area with the extensive Saalbach Hinterglemm/Leogang pistes. The development highlights the continued efforts Austria has put into its ski resorts creating vast and impressive areas skiers of all abilities can enjoy. With a new system there has been new technology used as well. The TirolS has been designed to transport more passengers to the slopes quicker in a bid to avoid any hint of long queues. Magic to the ears of Party Leaders as they seek to deliver a memorable ski experience to their students, the good news is only topped knowing the seats are fitted with technology for your tush keeping it warm all the way up!
Austria has seen over €270 million invested in lift facilities designed with efficiency in mind. Providing schools with a greater number of terrain choices and good snow conditions, Austria has made great strides to place itself as a destination offering one of the best alpine experiences in Europe.
