Occupying a prime location in the centre of Zauchensee, Das Schneehaus is just a few minutes’ walk from the lifts, which give skiers access to some of the snow-surest slopes in Austria. Inside, apartment-style rooms are arranged on a two- to eight-bed basis, while the dining room, bar service, recreation room and disco give you all plenty of space to relax long after the lifts have closed for the day.

A games console, Internet access and a TV and DVD projector room cover the important technological needs of your teenagers, and you’ll find plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants nearby. For a change of scene, Altenmarkt is just down the road.
