Venice
Regular ferries leave from Punta Sabbioni taking your group right into the heart of this famous Italian city.

Highlights include:

St Mark’s Square
Thanks to its precarious location, St Mark’s Square can often be traversed upon a pathway of table tops to avoid the floods! The square is defined by arcades along three sides and St. Mark's Basilica at the eastern end. It is best visited early morning to avoid the crowds.

St Mark’s Basilica
This is one of the best examples of Byzantine architecture in the whole of Italy. Hordes of tourists and worshippers flock to Venice to admire the opulent interior including mosaics made from gold and precious stones.

Doge’s Palace
This superb example of Venetian Gothic architecture was the home of the Government and served as a venue for law courts and the city jail. It is possible to take a guided tour around the offices, sculptures and out onto the Bridge of Sighs.

The Venetian Lagoon
Each island is accessible via a passenger ‘hop on, hop off’ ferry bus and all three can be visited in one day. Students will find picturesque fishing villages, shops, cafes and cats.

Murano Island is famed for its glassware and glass-blowing can be watched within the workshops.
Torcello Island is visited for its 12th & 13th century basilicas that contain superb mosaics.
Burano Island is renowned for its lace production and photo opportunities of old ladies sewing are in abundance.

Aqualandia
This enormous water park is close to Jesolo and will give your students a whole week’s worth of activities in one day! All the usual rides and plunge pools as well as the highest waterslide in the world.

Padua
Padua is a beautiful old University City and home to the famous Basilica of St Anthony. The summer residence of the Doges can be visited just outside of the town.

Verona
This remarkable medieval city has some fine examples of Romanesque architecture not least of all the Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore. Arenas, piazzas and artistic heritage make Verona a highly educational and romantic Italian city.
