Rome & Sorrento School Tours

This two centre tour enables students to enjoy the hustle and bustle of modern day Rome while finding out more about the architecture and stories of the past. Sorrento is an incredibly beautiful area of Italy and the view from the Bay of Naples is exquisite. Day trips to Vesuvius and the preserved cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum will bring groups studying humanities much closer to their studies.

Rome & Sorrento by air*

Day 1: Depart your school in the morning and fly to Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport in Rome. Transfer to your accommodation for your evening meal.
Day 2: Explore Ancient Rome with a guide including: Coliseum, Roman Forum, Palatine and Baroque Rome Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain. Return to your accommodation for your evening meal.
Day 3: Full day at leisure to visit the Palatine, Forum, Bocca della Verita and Capitoline.
Day 4: After breakfast, check out of your hotel taking all of your belongings with you and depart for Sorrento stopping at the Catacombs en-route. Arrive in Sorrento and transfer to accommodation for evening meal.
Day 5: Morning trip to Pompeii including preserved buildings, excavations and museums. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and more sightseeing.
Day 6: Day trip to Vesuvius and Herculaneum. Walk around the crater and visit the preserved once busy port that was buried alongside Pompeii.
Day 7: Check out after breakfast and transfer to Naples airport prior to flying back to the UK.
