Barcelona
This fantastic city is considered the capital of Catalonia and is a perfect destination for an educational or recreational excursion. The art of Gaudi is on display throughout the city and the museums, cafes, parks and narrow lanes make for a memorable day trip.

Lloret de Mar
One of the first resorts to embrace tourism in the 60’s Lloret de Mar has recently undergone a transformation to rid itself of the package holiday image. This is a great base for undertaking a watersports programme and packed full of cafes, shops and restaurants.

Blanes
Considered to be the ‘Gateway’ to the Costa Brava, Blanes is a lot quieter than some of its neighbours along the coast and still functions as a fishing port. Behind the sea front you’ll find the real Catalan community with Gothic churches medieval houses and lively markets.

Canoeing
Sea canoeing is a great way to keep fit and experience a feeling of relaxation and tranquility on the open water. The sea is usually calm making it perfect for learning how to canoe without being unbalanced by large waves.

Snorkeling
There are a lot of great areas for snorkeling along the Costa Brava. The northern resorts provide the best opportunities and the protected marine reserve at Illes Medes is teeming with marine life and schools of friendly fish.

Banana boat
Hold on tight as you crash through the surf on a gigantic inflatable banana being towed by a speed boat! This activity is great fun and really safe too as all ‘bananas’ will be issued with instructions and buoyancy aids prior to the trip.

Windsurfing
Thanks to the nature of this part of the Mediterranean, the breeze and calm water make for excellent conditions for windsurfing. Students will be given lessons on the beach and then in shallow water before being allowed onto the open water still under supervision.

Sailing
Dinghies and small catamarans are perfect for learning how to sail and the warm breeze and calm waters also help to make this learning experience as beneficial and enjoyable as possible. Our professional team of instructors are skilled in training complete novices.
