Bremen & Bremerhaven School Tours

Germany’s only two-city state is known for its prosperity, even though it started out life as a small fishing settlement. In recent times Bremen and Bremerhaven, have grown somewhat and are now home to the second largest port in Germany and the Mercedes-Benz manufacturing plant. Students of history, languages and business studies will find plenty of excursions and recreational activities for a fulfilling school trip.

 

Bremen & Bremerhaven by coach*
Day 1: Very early departure to take the most convenient Channel crossing before continuing your journey to your accommodation and evening meal.
Day 2: Explore Bremen with a guide including a tour of the town hall and the market square. In the afternoon visit St Peter’s Cathedral, the Roland statue and the local history museum.
Day 3: Take a cruise along the Sclachte Embankment to Bremen Harbour before negotiating the alley ways of the Schnoor Quarter.
Day 4: Spend the whole day in Bremerhaven visiting the German Maritime Museum, the Zoo by the sea and taking a cycle ride from the Marina.
Day 5: Leave your accommodation after breakfast and head for home.

 

Bremen & Bremerhaven by coach*Day 1: Depart your school in the evening ready for overnight Channel crossing and onwards travel to Germany.

Day 2: Arrive at your hostel, check in and have lunch before walking tour of Bremen. In the afternoon visit the Science Centre before your evening meal.

Day 3: Today you transfer to Bremerhaven via coach to take a guided tour of the city, lunch at Lido Beach and visit the Climate house in the afternoon.

Day 4: After breakfast take a cruise to the German Emigration centre at the overseas harbour and visit the Zoo by the Sea in the afternoon.

Day 5: Free time in Bremerhaven before overnight departure back to the UK
