Triberg Waterfalls
Germany‘s highest waterfalls have a vertical drop of 163metres! The falls themselves are split into 7 stages which can be reached by a well-used path. This amazing natural attraction is great for students of geography and amateur photographers alike.

The Glass Museum, Wolfach
This fascinating museum has over 2,000 years of glass-making history displayed with many examples of styles and techniques. Other highlights include a glass blowing demonstration and a chance to find out more about glass grinding.

Musee du Chocolat, Geispolsheim
The production methods, history and of course the taste of chocolate are all on display at this very popular venue. Your group can find out more about how cocoa beans are turned into the manufactured phenomenon that we all know and love.

The Clock Museum at Furtwangen
They have been collecting clocks here for 150 years and the museum now houses 8000 different exhibits. As you’d expect from the area, cuckoo clocks are prevalent as well as many other more unusual varieties.

Lake Titisee
To maintain the quality of the water only quiet and environmentally-friendly electric boats are permitted upon Lake Titisee. This environment is perfect for studying the natural environment and enjoying the cool clear waters on a river boat cruise.

Vogt’s Farmhouse
This is an open-air museum in Gutach, near Freiburg, which shows students what farm life was like 300 years ago. The exhibits provide a fascinating insight into traditional skills used in agriculture, weaving and charcoal burning.

Strasbourg
This diverse city is home to charming canals, traditional architecture and an unfinished single-tower cathedral. The European Parliament and the European Court of Human Rights are located in Strasbourg making it a first-class educational venue.

Freiburg
Germany‘s most southerly city is compact, friendly and dates back to medieval times. This is an ideal place from which to study the history, culture and people of a traditional German town.

Schauinsland Silver Mine
The mine was commercially viable for over 800 years and ended as a working industry in the 1950s. It is possible to arrange tours of the mine shafts that stretch for 100kms underground with over 22 levels.

Stein Am Rhein & the Rhine Falls
A short trip into Switzerland allows your group to visit this historic and picturesque village which is located on the banks of the Rhine. The Rhine Falls, in nearby Schaffhausen, are Europe‘s widest and you can take a boat ride to really feel the true impact of this impressive natural environment.

Europa Park, Rust
This is the largest theme park in Germany. The park is split into various European countries and features a number of spectacular rides, food halls and themed exhibits. This is a fantastic day out and provides educational information as well as some enjoyable rides.
