Black Forest & Alsace School Tours

Alsace gives students a fascinating insight into culture and languages thanks to its proximity to the border. Across the Rhine the Black Forest is home to many industrious communities that produce the traditional wood craft that is famed throughout Europe. Students will benefit from trips to this unique area where they can compare and contrast the influences from three different countries: Germany, France and Switzerland.

 

Black Forest & Alsace by coach*
Day 1: Leave your school in the morning and head to the most convenient UK port. Your coach will drive through the night to reach your destination in the Black Forest
Day 2: Arrive at your accommodation for lunch and spend the rest of the day orientating and exploring the local area.
Day 3: Take a boat trip on Lake Titisee, then visit the glass museum in Wolfach followed by a trip to the Vogt’s farmhouse. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 4: Today your group will visit the famous city of Strasbourg.
Day 5: A day out in Europa Park to the largest fun park in the whole of Germany – this is a great place to unwind and find out more about the tourism industry.
Day 6: Day at leisure in Freiburg before departing after dinner for the overnight journey home.
Day 7: Return Channel crossing back to the UK.

Day 3: Visit the Open Air Museum in Gutach followed by the Triberg Waterfalls. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 4: Stop en-route at the Chocolate Museum in Geispolsheim before continuing to the famous town of Freiburg.
Day 5: A day out in Europa Park, the largest fun park in the whole of Germany – this is a great place to unwind and find out more about the tourism industry.
Day 6: Day at leisure in Strasbourg before departing after dinner for the overnight journey home.
Day 7: Return Channel crossing back to your UK base.
