Pre-book and pre-pay to save disappointment

It has become increasingly clear that the only way to secure availability of the best locations and times for our parties is to pre-book the facilities which, because of the service provided by our Innsbruck Head Office, HTS is uniquely able to do. A combination of extremely heavy pressure on peak dates, with virtually all parties from the UK (and often schools from many continental countries too) wanting to use the same facilities at the same time, and certain parties or operators booking and then not turning up, has meant that secure reservations can only realistically be made by pre-booking and by our company providing suppliers with a payment guarantee. In this way, we have been able to ensure that HTS parties are not disappointed on arrival by the non-availability of any particular entertainment.

Under each resort we have listed a programme of locally available evening entertainment. You can now select any of these individual entertainments or the complete package at the prices indicated. These entertainments will then be included on your invoice and will be booked by our Innsbruck office; one person is dedicated to this function in the winter months. Should any entertainment not be available we will advise you as soon as possible.

Entertainment needs to be booked as early as you possibly can (at the time of definite booking is ideal) or at the very latest in September/October in response to the special HTS form which will be sent to you. Please do not wait until your Final Numbers Form: experience has shown that that is too late and that your preferred entertainments will likely not be available. All bookings for entertainment, whenever made, are subject to availability and confirmation by HTS.

Once you have booked entertainment, it may not subsequently be cancelled as HTS will have made a firm booking and either paid or given a payment guarantee to the supplier.

Discos
Most hotels now provide a room for use for a disco evening. Please refer to the brochure. Many hotels also provide music equipment but some do not. If your hotel does not provide music equipment we will advise you (if you indicate that you wish to arrange a disco) so that you can bring your own equipment with you. In all cases you will need to bring your own music on CDs as this is not supplied by hotels

Capacity Limitations
Large groups in excess of 49 persons and, in some cases, normal-sized groups need to be prepared to split entertainment if necessary. For example, certain swimming pools will accept only a given maximum number of children at any one time, most bowling alleys have 2 or 3 lanes, the availability of ice skating equipment is often limited to 15-30 pairs of ice skates of an appropriate size, and even places such as pizzerias and discos cannot always accommodate large groups in one.

Please note that ice skating and curling may well not be possible later in the season and particularly at Easter as many ice rinks will have already closed.
