St Moritz is one of the world’s most famous ski resorts and Switzerland’s largest ski area, boasting an impressive 350k of piste. Situated 1750m high in the Southeastern corner of Switzerland, near the border with Italy, St Moritz lies in the twin shadows of the 2962m Piz Nair and the 3301m Piz Corvatsch. Home of the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympics, along with the famous Cresta run, this fabulous resort offers stunning scenery. There is elegance and alpine beauty everywhere in Switzerland, but nowhere is it concentrated in such huge amounts as here on the rooftop of Europe, St. Moritz.

On the slopes
The St Moritz ski area is so vast it caters for all levels of skiers and snowboarders - from extensive, well known areas with a wide range of runs to smaller, family-friendly, village ski lifts. As 245km of the piste is marked as red runs, intermediate skiers will be able to ski all for corners of this impressive resort. For those looking for a challenge, experts can head to the tougher parts on the back side of the Piz Nair, as well as Corvatsch summit.
