The Sonata is well located close to the centre of Pfunds giving easy access to the ski areas of Ischgl/Samnaun or Nauders/Reschenpass. It has recently been refurbished and is specially designed for youth groups. There are a good range of in-house facilities on offer whilst the attractive village of Pfunds is just a short walk from the hotel. There is a ski bus stop right in front of the hotel. The Sonata represents good value for money and is a great base from which to explore some of Austria’s best skiing. All rooms benefit from private facilities.

Local Knowledge
Pfunds is an attractive and unspoiled Tirolean village close to 3 ski areas: 15 minutes from Nauders, 20 minutes from the Reschenpass and 20-25 minutes to Samnaun (Switzerland) from where you can access the Samnaun-Ischgl area. You can therefore choose to ski either Ischgl-Samnaun (Austria-Switzerland) or Nauders-Reschenpass (Austria-Italy). Various combinations are also possible.

Après-Ski
Your school ski group will find plenty to do in Pfunds with its bowling alley, ice skating, curling, shops, cafés, bars, disco, restaurants and pizzerias. There’s also an indoor swimming pool in Samnaun. While at the hotel you can use its equipped disco room, TV/DVD, table tennis, billiard table, bar, separate adults’ room and lounge area. You can also relax in the sauna and solarium (extra charge).
