Jungfrau is one of the oldest established ski areas in Europe and sits on either side of the Kleine Scheidegg ski area, which nestles beneath the towering peaks of the spectacular Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau Mountains. The Jungfrau region offers beautiful skiing in a traditional Swiss setting, spanning across 3 mountains and 6 ski areas. The entire ski area is surrounded by incredible scenery and its high altitude makes this a snow-sure resort. We highly recommend taking a visit to the Jungfraujoch for outstanding views of the Aletsch glacier.
On the slopes
The three ski areas of Grindelwald First, Kleine Scheildegg-Mannlichen and Murren-Schilthorn combine to offer a staggering 213km of pistes. Beginners can head to Mannlichen and the Kleine Scheidegg ski areas, with great wide-open nursery slopes. Intermediates are spoilt for choice, with over 100km of red runs to choose from. Advanced skiers can challenge themselves down the Lauberhorn world cup run or the steep mogul fields from the top of the Schilthorn.
