Ahrntalerhof

Situated within easy reach of the ski lifts, the Ahrntalerhof is traditionally furnished to a high standard with comfortable bedrooms and well appointed public areas. The hotel is located in between St Johann and Steinhaus which are around 2km in either direction. It is just 2.5km to the Klausberg ski area and 8km to the Speikboden ski area. The hotel features a good range of facilities including a spacious wood panelled dining room and a recreation room. All rooms benefit from a TV, safe, telephone and private facilities. Hot lunches are available on the slopes (at a supplment).

Local Knowledge
Steinhaus and St Johann Ahrntal are two small, attractive villages which are 3km apart, set in the South Tirolean Ahrn Valley. They are well positioned to take advantage of the excellent snow sure ski areas of Kronplatz and Ahrntal. Situated to the north of Bruneck and close to the Austrian border with easy access via the motorway and Brennar Pass. There is a superb modern uplift serving an exciting variety of snow sure pistes with the added advantage of 100% snow making cover. There’s also an interesting Italian-Austrian atmosphere where both Italian and German are spoken.

Après-Ski
While your school ski group takes a break from the skiing they can visit Steinhaus and St Johann Ahrntal to use the natural ice skating rink, disco, restaurants, bars, cafés, pizzeria, and shops. At the Ahrntalerhof your group can enjoy the recreation room, disco room, TV/DVD, stuberl and bar. Adults can take advantage of a separate room to relax in plus there’s also a sauna and solarium (extra charge).
