A perfect one party hotel in a quiet location at the end of the Windau Valley, in the Skiwelt ski area. It is only a short coach ride to the well known resort of Westendorf, 9km to the Alpenrose gondola and just 4km to the ski pistes. The Steinberghaus gasthof has an excellent reputation for its food with all the Grafl family using fresh local produce in most of their dishes. The gasthof is charmingly furnished in Tirolean style with many pieces of painted rustic furniture on show. It would be an ideal choice for a sole occupancy. All rooms benefit from private facilities. There’s also an après-ski hut where discos can be arranged as well as sauna which is free for adults. Hot lunches available.

Local Knowledge
Westendorf is a much sought after, typically Tirolean ski village in the heart of the Wilder Kaiser Ski Welt. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere which encourages guests to return year after year. Situated on a sunny plateau, above the Brixen Valley, it is 10km from Wörgl and 15km from Kitzbühel. Our package includes the full Skiwelt/Wilder Kaiser ski pass covering all 91 lifts within Austria’s biggest interconnected ski complex, which is good for all levels of skier, with 250km of piste.

Après-Ski
Take your school ski group into Westendorf where they can use its natural ice skating rink, shops, bars, restaurants, pizzerias and wine bars. In Söll they can also enjoy an indoor swimming pool and bowling, 8km away. While at the gasthof you can also use the après-ski hut where discos can be arranged, TV room, stube (cosy lounge area), bar, separate adults’ room and there’s also a sauna which is free for adults.
