Salzburger Sportwelt School Ski Tours

This extensive ski area, part of the Ski Amade region, comprises ten attractive resorts all with great amenities for school groups. We feature five: Wagrain, which is connected to Flachau and St Johann in Pongau/Alpendorf; the interlinked resorts of Radstadt and Altenmarkt; Kleinarl, from where Flachauwinkel and Zauchensee can easily be reached and finally Eben, which has its own small ski area in the village, and from where the rest of the Salzburger Sportwelt can be accessed in minutes.

All the accommodation featured is well located close to the main lifts and the village centres and is of an exceptional standard, ideally suited to young people. Wagrain and Zauchensee offer great late season skiing.

HTS local knowledge
Two Austrian ski champions hail from the Salzburger Sportwelt. Hermann Maier comes from Flachau. With 54 World Cup victories he is the second most successful racer in the history of the World Cup. Michael Walchhofer, the current men’s downhill World Champion, learned to ski in Zauchensee where he and his family still live.
