Saalbach Hinterglemm School Ski Tours

Saalbach Hinterglemm has some HTS local knowledge of the best connected skiing in Austria. It is possible to ski both clockwise and anti clockwise around the ski circuit, and recent investment in the lift system ensures excellent, integrated uplift. The accommodation offered is close to the slopes and to the centre of Saalbach, with its excellent infrastructure. The resort also offers challenges for snowboarders and is therefore especially suited to mixed groups.

HTS local knowledge
The development of the lift system in the resort began immediately after the war. In 1947 the first chairlift on the Schattberg was built and for the next four decades continual improvements were made. In 1991 Saalbach Hinterglemm hosted the World Cup skiing championships.
