Located within walking distance of the lifts and resort centre, the Tauernhof is a large, modern hotel which has been specially designed for school ski groups. It offers great facilities and is a popular choice for those who wish to explore the extensive skiing of snow sure Obertauern. It’s just 1km to Obertauern, while the Kehrkopf chair lift and ski bus stop are only 400m away. The efficient management will do all it can to ensure our school ski groups are well looked after during their stay. Each day there is a packed lunch available with the option of a hot lunch with no supplement. Hot lunch also available on the slopes. All rooms are en suite and there is an internet corner in reception.

Obertauern is a popular resort with a state-of-the-art lift system, fantastic snow record and a wide range of amenities. It is situated at the top of the Radstädter Tauern Pass, 20km from Radstadt and 18km from Mauterndorf. This is a top, high-level, snow sure ski area with interconnected runs on both sides of the valley. There is an inexpensive ski pass upgrade available to include the whole Oberlungau Region.
