Felseralm

The popular Felseralm is located in the Obertauern ski area and has been specially designed for youth groups. It is divided into four sections allowing each school ski group a measure of independence. The hotel is run by Barbara Steiner who works tirelessly to ensure all her guests are well looked after. It’s 3.5km to the Kehrkopf chairlift and 4km to Obertauern. There are a wide range of leisure facilities on offer in the hotel including a large sports hall, numerous recreation rooms, fully equipped disco room and even a small cinema. All rooms are en suite. Hot lunches available at the hotel and on the mountain.

Obertauern is a popular resort with a state-of-the-art lift system, fantastic snow record and a wide range of amenities. It is situated at the top of the Radstädter Tauern, 20km from Radstadt and 18km from Mauterndorf. This is a top, high-level, snow sure ski area with interconnected runs on both sides of the valley. There is an inexpensive ski pass upgrade available to include the whole Oberlungau Region.

Obertauern has plenty to keep your school ski group amused including restaurants, pizzeria, shops, bars, cafés, discos, curling, sports centre (tennis/squash), ice climbing wall, horse sleigh ride and bowling alley. The hotel has a particularly good range of leisure facilities including a bar/stube (cosy lounge area), 5 recreation rooms, fully equipped disco room, TV/video and large screen projector, small cinema, table tennis, darts, volleyball, handball, basketball, table football, large sports hall/gymnasium and a sauna for adults which is free once a week.
