  • Your ski school has its own private nursery/practice areas on the Katschberg and the Speiereck

This ski pass consist of three separate areas: the Katschberg mountain with runs down to the village of St Margarethen, the Speiereck – Grosseck accessed from St Michael and Mauterndorf and finally the Fanningberg which is reached from Mariapfarr. The area has been a popular destination for our groups for many years due to the long, varied runs, quick progression, convenient skiing and enviable snow record.

HTS local knowledge
In 1944 Ferdinand Porsche moved his business from Stuttgart to Gmünd. At first the factory concentrated on building agricultural machinery and turbines, but in 1948 the first Porsche car rolled off the production line, a Porsche 356. The katchberg pass proved an ideal test ground for the vehicle.
