Venedigerblick

Situated on the edge of Neukirchen in the Ski-Arena Wildkogel ski area, the Venedigerblick is a traditional gasthof conveniently located within a few minutes of the Wildkogel lift. It’s a great base from which to explore the upper Pinzgau Valley plus your school ski group can take advantage of the upgraded ski pass to ski the Ziller Valley. It would make an ideal choice for a sole occupancy where you’ll find hearty, wholesome food served at dinner by the owner, Herr Brauer, and his family, making this gasthof a comfortable and welcoming place to return to after a day on the slopes. There is a ski bus right in front of the hotel while it’s just 1.5km to the Wildkogel gondola and only 2km to the pretty village of Neukirchen. All rooms benefit from private facilities. Adults can relax in the sauna which is free once a week or take a dip in the whirlpool (extra charge). Hot lunches are available on the slopes at a supplement.

Local Knowledge
Neukirchen is set at the foot of the magnificent Grossvenediger Mountain (3674m) and is a pretty village which is a popular ski resort with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. It is located in the Upper Pinzgau Valley, between Mittersill and the Krimml Waterfalls. We highly recommend all our Ziller Valley school ski groups visit Fügen where they’ll love the water and leisure complex with its indoor pool which connected to an open-air pool with a wave machine and slides. There’s also an ice skating rink, restaurant, sauna, and beauty centre.

Après-Ski
While in Neukirchen your school ski group can enjoy its restaurants, pizzeria, bars, cafés, shops, ice skating, curling and disco. At the gasthof your group can also use the bar, stube (cosy lounge area), disco room, TV with video, table tennis and table football. There’s also a sauna for adults which is free once a week and a whirlpool (extra charge).
