Grossglockner is the highest HTS local knowledge mountain in Austria and to ski in its shadow surrounded by fabulous, soaring scenery is a memorable experience for even the most seasoned skier. We offer doorstep skiing which enables groups to maximise their time on the slopes. The nursery slope is in the village, close to the hotel. Skiing is concentrated on two mountains connected by a tunnel from the middle station of the Rossbach lift to the bottom of the Fleissalm lift. Due to the altitude, this resort is particularly suited to late season skiing.

HTS local knowledge
Heiligenblut lies at the foot of the majestic Grossglockner mountain, Austria’s highest. It was first climbed in 1800. The Grossglockner high alpine road (closed in winter) begins its ascent at Heiligenblut on the south side. It was built 1930 – 1935 and today attracts over 1,2million tourists annually. At its highest point it reaches 2572m.
