Gofree village

This is a great experience for school groups to develop an understanding and appreciation of what its like to stay in an alpine chalet. The comfortable bungalows are located in the village of Pragelato, just 7 Kms away from the Sestriere slopes. The Pragelato ski area is quite small, although it has a lift connecting directly with Sestriere, it is only really suitable for intermediate and expert skiers. We suggest travelling by coach to Sestriere where there is more skiing choice of skiing for all levels. Being based in Pragelato works well for school groups as you are based in a village with local pizzerias, small bars and and also a open air ice rink for students to enjoy.

The tourist Village Gofree is made up of a series of chalets; wooden independent units, completely furnished. The chalets sleep six; one double room, one room fitted with bunk beds, one living room with a sofa-bed, bathroom, terrace and kitchen (which will be not connected during your stay).

Please bear in mind due to agreements with the owner, it is not possible to be accomodated in single rooms.This is a unique accommodation option for a school group and can allow your students to go on an forgtablle ski trip to an olympic resort at an affordable price.
