SNOWCOACH

While your ski trip is not about your coach, it is the only service upon which you rely from the very
beginning to the very end. We provide modern, comfortable coaches with:

* Reclining seats
* Video
* Toilet
* Drinks facilities
* Seat belts
* Advanced snow chains and winter servicing
* Experienced drivers who have undertaken HTS pre-season training to assist their understanding of what is   required of them
   

For your safety in winter and to ensure that replacement vehicles are more readily available in case of breakdown, HTS carefully plans all routes, based on personal experience, and insists on those routes being adhered to.

COACH SIZES
Coaches normally have a maximum capacity of 49 seats. Prices are based on a minimum of 40 full paying persons in a 49-seater coach. A limited number of double-decker coaches with a capacity of 60-72 seats are available. Double-deckers are, however, not up to the same standard as single-decker coaches in terms of age, manoeuvrability, passenger comfort or luggage space, and we therefore recommend you to avoid them.

They are, nevertheless, considerably more expensive to operate and an automatic supplement of £20 per person based on 60 full paying persons applies. If you have less than 40 full paying persons in any one 49-seater coach the following supplements apply in order to cover the net cost only of the empty seats (alternatively you can take the "small party option" at no extra cost).

SNOWCOACH DEPARTURES
Departs the UK on Friday, arriving in the resort on Saturday Departs resort on Friday, arriving back in the UK on Saturday. Occasionally, a departure from the UK on Saturday is necessary/possible. The appropriate adjustments to departure days are made at Christmas and New Year.

MINIMUM NUMBERS
Our prices are based on the following minimum numbers:-

Air tours:  30 paying persons
Snowcoach tours:  40 paying persons

Smaller parties can be accepted but supplements are payable. Please see list of Snowcoach supplements for parties with less than 40 paying persons. See also "Small party options with 3 free places".
